Directors Message

In a world where there is enough food for everyone, we need to make concerted efforts to ensure it reaches people and communities in need. We strive to achieve just that. I am incredibly grateful to our donors, volunteers and partners. Thank you for supporting us in giving people the support they need, and for believing in our ability to transform their lives and that of their families and communities. Our Story

The global Covid-19 pandemic affected many families living in underserved and vulnerable communities in Pakistan. With ongoing lockdowns and semi curfews imposed since the beginning, many people dependent on daily wages were struggling to find work to be able to put food on the table for their families.

This initiative was set up in response to the first lockdown imposed in Pakistan. We started supporting people dependent on daily wages, domestic helpers, labourers, rickshaw drivers, and daily rag pickers, many who were already debt ridden and living in very poor conditions. By providing warm cooked meals to these workers and their families, they did not have to worry about where the next meal will come from, as they stayed inside to stay safe.

We've come a long way since then and are now a strong network of volunteers, donors and community partners providing food to underserved communities across Pakistan.

Our values are founded on Islamic principles and play a key role in our conduct and interaction with the people we serve, our donors, and our partners.
